I have always loved this Reid dairy since I was a kid and have never ever been disappointed. Cory Sakai2025-08-02Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Fun! Place to stop and a new facelift for this location we call the ice cream Castle! Prices and value are good for ice cream and they also sell retail dairy goods. It used to be crazy good prices but now it's just good. 30 flavours. The single scoop is a pretty large portion. The lines can be long especially during popular times like the weekends and later into the afternoons and evenings, but they do their best to try and move people along quickly. Some of the young girls are friendlier and better than the other employees. The factory is there but you can't really see behind the scenes like you used to be able to. A cool history wall with memorabilia too. There is duck pond out back, but that's about it. No more animals, but you can also make the cow head inside moo by pressing the red button. TIP: Watch your step. Lots of people inevitably spill, drip or drop their ice cream around there. Kawartha Dairy locations are also close by for a more expensive but upscale change with better flavours. Priya Almeida2025-07-31Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Heard about this place when looking up things to do in Belleville and decided to check it out as my boyfriend has fond memories of visiting a long gone Reid's Dairy location growing up. We ordered a Tornado, a couple scoops of ice cream (be warned - their serving sizes are amazingly enormous; you'll get about a pint's worth in a bowl) and a milkshake over the course of our stay in Belleville. All of it was delicious and half the price it would have been at Dairy Queen or Baskin Robbins. I found it completely charming in there, and can only imagine what a thrill it would be if I were a little kid with its castle exterior and animatronic cow that moos when you press the button. Someone told me there's goats but I didn't see any. I like the drive thru, and I wanted to know more about the tower and if we can go up there gr8tfish gr8tfish2025-07-29Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A place so nice I came here twice. The aroma of vanilla ice cream permeates through the air conditioned establishment immediately upon entering. Soft serve(vanilla, chocolate or twist) or hard, cone or cup, flavours galore for the scoop ice cream, or you can buy milk by the bag or carton, frozen food options. This is such a great place to visit with kids (outdoor play ground and a pond with wildlife). Prices are competitive to great, 2 cones and a cup ended up 12$ which is amazing. The ice cream is cold enough not to melt right away. My only wish is if there was a chocolate dip option. This beats Dairy Queen hands down. Wish they were still in Durham and Scarborough 👍🏾Google rating score: 4.4 of 5, based on 821 reviews
